calming yoga classes
in person weekly classes (4 weekly block)
this specially created class is designed to nourish the mind, body and soul on a deeper level. in a calming environment with warm, lighting, organic essential oil fragrance and soothing music. you will be guided through gentle stretches awakening the body and releasing any tension held within. this slower paced movement helps us connect to the breath and prepares us for savasana, where a guided relaxation will activate the parasympathetic nervous system, reduce stress hormones, calm activity in the brain and slow the heart rate. the perfect state for the breath work that follows. the most essential part! breath is life! the modern world has forgotten how important the breath is and how to breathe correctly. changing the pattern of your breath changes the energy within giving you the power to transition to a calmer and more restful state.
learning techniques that you can use anywhere any time! for the classes you will be required to wear comfortable clothing, bring your own yoga, mat and blanket.

During This guided meditation practice you will experience profound physical restoration, allowing the release of tension. This practice extends beyond mere relaxation, delving into mental repose as individuals navigate the calming realms of consciousness. As the layers unfold, Deep Rest Yoga becomes a haven for emotional resilience, providing an opportunity to lay burdens to rest – be it past hurts, fears, or guilt. Join me to cultivate a sense of peace within, as this therapeutic practice not only promotes physical and mental rest but also unlocks the potential for transformative emotional well-being. The class begins with a few gentle stretches to release physical tension, these movements will become familiar and your weekly ritual before we lie down and begin our journey into deep rest
This practice is suitable for everyone! You simply turn up, get comfy and rest!

Resting in the pose Savasana, lying on you back, feet wide enough apart so that the feet unfold outwards, arms away from the body , palm facing the sky. Savasana is the pose that ends all doing. Where we can simply exist, welcome yourself home
